On April 6, 2024, SHED hosted its first annual Housing Fair & Seminar. The half-day conference was held at University City High School and featured informative sessions aimed at helping new and existing homeowners:
- Discover Buying Programs: Explore on-site pre-qualifications for financing and meet with lenders to find out which buying programs you are eligible for.
- Build or Repair Credit: Obtain a free credit report and learn how to build your credit score or repair your credit.
- Increase Home Value: Learn about home energy efficiency and repair programs and what improvements provide the best ROI for home value.
- Plan An Estate: Talk one-on-one with an attorney to learn how best to leave your property to others and create generational wealth.
SHED’s 2025 Annual Community Meeting will be held from 6-7:30 pm on Tuesday, November 18, at the University City Public Library.
