What an incredible year 2021 has been for SHED! Twice as many homes were serviced this year as last! SHED reached a milestone of 500 U City residents served since its inception in 2009! The majority of the homes serviced this year, as in the past years, are located in the 3rd Ward, are homes owned by minorities who are long-time residents, and are low to moderate-income families. We look forward to 2022 and seeing how the 3rd Ward can flourish with the additional funds allocated to it through the I-170 redevelopment project that is now under construction. Thank you to all of the volunteers who worked with SHED this past year, and may 2022 bring additional growth for both SHED and University City.
