We are excited to share that Mimi Taylor-Hendrix, SHED’s Board Chair, has been named a recipient of the 2026 Resident Leadership Award by the Community Builders Network of Metropolitan St. Louis—one of just seven leaders recognized across the region! This annual honor celebrates individuals whose leadership, service, and commitment strengthen our neighborhoods and advance equitable development across the St. Louis region. Mimi’s dedication to our U-City and Ward 3 community truly reflects the spirit of this award. She was recognized at the 14th Annual Community Development Family Reunion on April 23rd at Third Degree Glass Factory.
